Warner Brothers Create Engaging Sequel

By Jake McQuiggan

Warner Bros. hits us again with the sequel to Clash of the Titans as we follow the story of Perseus once more in Wrath of the Titans.

More than a decade after killing the deadly Kraken, Perseus has had a son, Helius, and is attempting to live a normal life as a fisherman. His father, Zeus, approaches Perseus for help because the gods are losing power due to the lack of prayer from the people of the world. I was very pleased that the gods were used a lot more in this movie and even fight in the end.

After refusing to help, Hades and Ares capture Zeus so his power can be given to Kronos, the father of all gods. If Hades succeeds, the titans will rule the world and destroy all humans. Perseus must find Poseidon’s son, and as the last demigods save his father and the world.

This movie is a great story of Greek mythology and gives action a whole new level. I was very pleased with the visual effects and the fighting. I did not like the amount of monsters added to the movie, but it made it so there was never a dull moment.

The actors did even better than the previous movie and helped keep the intensity throughout the whole film. The sequel definitely lived up to the first and I give it a 4.5 out 5. I highly recommend this movie if you love intense action and violence with a little sprinkle of drama.

Neat article. I will definitely go watch the movie. The Orginial clash of the TItans was amazing and the remake left alot to be deisred; not saying it was a bad movie, just not necessarily a good greek mythology movie. I’ve heard nothing but good thigns about the sequel so I will definitely go see it.

I appreciate that there are articles covering fun entertainment news instead of stricly news and events. The article makes me want to see the movie because he left it off without giving too much away. It seems like the writer actually enjoyed this movie and was eager to write a review on it.

I think that the article did a great job of reviewing the movie. And I like that trn covers enterntainment not just school activities or events. I like that the review gave details without givinig away the whole story. I can tell that the author really saw this movie and gave a honest straightforward opinion of it.

This is a good review because it gives an honest opinion without giving too many specifics to give away the movie. TRN does a good job covering entertainment, and this is no exception.

So often, newspapers solely focus on only what is happening in the local area. TRN, however, greatly incorporates all aspects of Pop-Culture including movies as they inform their students about significant events going on in the country. With such dedication and devotion, the TRN staff has done a great job of keeping the PGHS students informed. I really like the fact that there is some personal opinion in the article which helps bring it closer to home.
