The military ball is something that I think a lot of students at our school look forward to. Granted that it may not be prom, but it gives the JROTC cadets and other decorated ranks the opportunity to mingle in a social setting that is dedicated to them. People put time and effort to be in the class, and I believe this is a good reward to them: a night of elegant partying.
