The fashion show Timeless was held on April 1, 2011. Preparation for the show had been going on since February 1. Preparation included nonstop practice, choreography, and seam and music selection. Decorations, platform set-up, backgrounds, and props also aided to the preparation. Fashion Marketing teacher, KimberlyBeales, had a model come to the school to teach student models how to walk. Beales has been at the high school for three years and promised her students of her first year that she would have a fashion show. Beales also believed that having a fashion show taught team-building, creativity and management skills. The Fashion Show was given the name “Timeless.” The theme originated from the idea that fashion is a walk through history and fashion is ever-going.

I am sad I missed this event. The outfits look great and really showed how generations alter clothing. Clothing is used to express the movement during the generations. Great job on taking the pictures and catching the emotions on people faces.

Wow, there were some really cool outfits. I like the idea of having a school fashion show. It allows people to express themselves in other ways besides art or music. The photos are really good too. I like how in some of the pictures the girls’ dresses are flaring out.
