I love these pictures. They show the emotions and efforts of all the players. They also gave me an idea of what a field hockey game is like because I have never seen one.

I have a grudge against anything that deals with Matoaca. It was hard losing to them because it was not like they were any better than we were. We came back and beat them in districts so it was like pay back from last year. They have become our biggest rival in field hockey.

I have never seen a field hockey game, but after viewing these photos, I can imagine the effort behind it. I’m sure that our Lady Royals gave it everything they had, which can only make them stronger for next time!

I love the intensity of these pictures. They really capture how hard the Lady Royals were playing. We may have lost but at least we gave it a good effort, and losing just means that we’re going to try harder next time to beat them.

This game was a very tough one. We beat Matoaca in our first game against them this season. I do think this loss was necessary because when we played them in the district tournament, we wanted it that much more since we had lost once to them. It made our intensity during the district game very intimidating and got us the win to advance to regionals.

Matoaca is at it again. It is pretty frustrating to see Matoaca beat Prince George in many sports. The Lady Royals gave their best and I applaud that. I hope they beat them next year. And the year after that. And the year after that one, etc.
