Prince George Lady Royals basketball standout Lilliauna Hopkins took one more step towards playing collegiate basketball yesterday when she signed her letter of intent with the Big Blues of Bluefield State College.
Located in Bluefield, West Virginia, the Big Blues are a NCAA Division II member and play teams associated with the USCAA.
Bluefield State College Women’s Basketball Coach Todd Fong has expressed excitement over the recruits who have signed with the team so far.
“I am really excited for this recruiting class. The addition of Hopkins and Coleman makes the 2017-2018 class very strong and I cannot wait for them to be on campus,” said Coach Fong, as stated on the Big Blues website.
Hopkins is interested in becoming a lawyer, and plans to major in social sciences.
