SADD Club sponsor Takisha Ogunyemi organized the Harlem Wizards Game which took place on Wednesday, March 23rd before spring break in the PGHS Gymnasium. The mission of the event was to entertain and raise money to support the projects that SADD strives to complete each year.
The Wizards defeated the home team 74-68. Although the team composed of teachers and principals lost, the event was very successful.
Many of the fans in attendance were from the surrounding Tri-Cities area and not just from Prince George. According to Ogunyemi, the event was so much of a success that preparations are being made to host this event next year.
