The Miss PGHS pageant took place on Saturday, Nov. 7th in the high school auditorium. The proceeds benefited the senior class and also awarded the winner a scholarship.
Senior Taylor Slusser was crowned Miss PGHS 2015 and Madison Stillings was selected as first runner-up. Erica Wilson was second runner-up and Brittany Mosher was selected as Miss Congeniality.
Senior girls first appeared on stage in a casual outfit of their choosing followed by a formal gown. Master of Ceremonies Philip Jones introduced the audience to the contestants by reading the girls’ interests, future plans, and accomplishments.
After a brief intermission where entertainment included a live performance, the top ten girls were announced. The top ten then responded to a question on stage. After a final round of voting took place, Jones announced the winners.
Senior class sponsors Karen Webb and Allison Heath planned and directed the performance.
