On Wednesday, Feb. 27, there was a blood drive held in the auditorium throughout the school day. Students were invited to sign up and donate blood. One such student was senior Jason Foster. Here is his outlook on donating blood.
This is not my first time donating blood; it will be my third time.
Well it is fun donating blood because and it makes me feel good because it make me feel like I’m giving back to the people who do things for us or who really need it. It feels like I am saving a life.

Before I give blood, I get a little nervous because the sight of blood makes me kind of woozy; but then again, I just think about what I am doing to help other people.
I pray as they get ready to put in the needle, fearing that they might slip up and miss my vain and poke a whole in my arm.
