The staff was able to manage their time wisely and write an article that managed to be very informative. It probably caused the March issue to be one of the best issues of the year because of this story. Since it was put on the front page, it caused a spark of interest in the majority of both students and faculty members. I particularly like this time of timeline because it has visuals that accompany it and show the actual process of how the staff got the articles, pictures, and videos done while working with people from the Channel 6 News(also another wonderful oppurtunity) all in the matter of a few hours.

APUSH was following the coverage as it happened, and although we never got to see the president before class ended, I was very impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm displayed in our students that got the opportunity to be there. I think the fact that they got this opportunity and executed it so well is something that Prince George should definitely be proud of!

Our fellow students of Prince George High who went to Obama’s speech did a good job with talking to the press and covering Obama’s visit. I was unable to watch the speech when it first occurred because of Obama’s arrival time, but I watched the clips here and some of his speech online. I do not agree with his policies, but you have to give it to him; he knows how to excite a crowd and command a room!

My 5th block class kept up with this live coverage throughout the class period. It would have been nice to have a live video feed but this was the next best thing. The pictures of the pre-speech routine really kept this coverage more personalized. I thougt this made it more interesting.
