We Are Newspapermen Project

This project began in 2013 with a team of five students who were tasked with uncovering the story of unsung hero and journalist L. Alex Wilson. What followed became the foundation of a yearly project to tell the stories of the unsung heroes of the black press, who throughout history have been forgotten.
