When the ball hit the back of the net against the Sky Hawks, Travis Temple felt pure joy.
Travis Temple is a sophomore at Prince George High school who enjoys playing sports and achieving high academic standards. Those two things are the most important things in his life.
Temple plays J.V. volleyball for Prince George High School and has been playing since his eighth grade year. Temple also plays soccer for Prince George High School’s J.V. team and has been on the team since his freshman year. Temple’s greatest memory from his freshman year of soccer was defeating the L.C Byrd Sky Hawks.
“It was a big win for us because we developed a rivalry with them and we usually do not beat them,” Temple said.
With playing sports Temple still maintains A/B honor roll and it is a big accomplishment he is proud of. “I hold myself to high academic standards and I enjoy achieving them and it also helps me achieve personal goals like getting into a good college,” Temple said.
After high school Temple plans on going to the college of William and Mary to become a journalist.
“Hopefully all of my hard work and dedication will pay off and my dream will come true,” Temple said.
