No, I wasn’t expecting to win. It was really a surprise to me.
How did it feel when they called your name as princess?
I was very excited, and I was also very excited for my Prince, Matt Burgess. I was really glad that he was the Prince and I was the Princess.
Were you on Homecoming Court last year? If so, did you win?
I was on Homecoming Court last year, and I did not win.
Were you surprised that you were nominated for Homecoming Court?
Yes, I was, and I’m honored to be the [Junior] Princess and being a member of the Court.

I did not expect to win Homecoming Prince because of all the other guys I was going against. They’re cool guys.
How did it feel when they called your name as prince?
It wasn’t too great until I heard them say the Princess was JoJo Taylor.

I was on Homecoming Court last year and I did not win.

I was very surprised because I was nominated last year and wasn’t expecting to be nominated again.
