Fall is fast approaching, and with the new season comes both new and returning television shows that will make you never want to leave the couch.
In addition to being an average family from the 80s, The Goldbergs is one of the newest shows to appear on ABC. This is the only family on TV that makes your family look cool. The Goldbergs is a family of six, living in suburban America, where the biggest problem is deciding whether to listen to Michael Jackson or Madonna on the family boombox. The Goldbergs premieres Tuesday, September 24th at 9pm.
Also on ABC, Scandal returns for its steamiest and most dramatic season yet. Season two ended with a shocking cliffhanger that left Gladiators (Scandal fans) craving the premiere of season three. What will happen next in the affair between Olivia Pope and the President of the United States? Whatever happens is sure to be scandalous.
One of the newest shows on the fall lineup is Dracula, starring The Tudors king Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Meyers returns to England in his newest project, but this time, instead of being the most powerful king in history, he returns as a Victorian entrepreneur out to seek revenge on those who’ve cursed him. This is a show you’ll want to sink your teeth into. Dracula airs on NBC October 25th at 10pm.
Also to returning to the small screen is the ill fated Glee, whose loss of star Cory Monteith was a tragedy that struck home for many Gleeks across the country. The biggest questions on the minds of the fans is how will the show honor Cory’s memory and how will the show continue without him. Monteith will be greatly missed, but the show must go on. Glee premieres on September 26th at 9pm on Fox.
