Writer Deborah Gardner
Sophomore Deborah Gardner gave us a look into her psyche as she opened up about what she valued most. When asked what was most important to her, she revealed it to be family. She spends her Thanksgivings in Philadelphia with her entire family. Deborah sees this as the best time for her to be herself because she feels welcome when around them. She really does value every aspect of the family environment.
Gardner values trust as one of her very important character traits in friends. She feels as if trust is one thing that just cannot be taken advantage of. She told me of a friend that she trusts more than any other.
“Besides my mom, she’s the one person I can tell anything to,” Gardner said.
When around Gardner, do not be quick to judge, as she feels strongly that people should not be so judgemental. it really irks her nerves when people are judged about their height, voice, or any other characteristic they may posses.
Gardner aspires to go to Princeton. When asked why, she revealed that as a child she saw it in a movie and she fell in love with it ever since.
