Students plan for the break

Students plan for the break

By Ciara Ward

Spring break begins Friday, April 15th and lasts until Easter Sunday. Students will be doing a variety of activities such as trips to the beach, catching up on sleep, traveling, hanging out with friends, and working.

The week break is a time of relaxation for some.

“Basically school’s out and I can sit back and relax, hopefully I can go on vacation to get away,” senior Todd Moore said.

The break can also be spent with friends enjoying the time out of school.

“I like having no school, chilling out, and hanging out with friends,” senior Shawn Robertson said.

Students also enjoy the change of season starting to emerge.

“I like the weather and free time,” junior Brianna Harris said.

The most enjoyable thing could be the break from the stressful schoolwork.

“I like not having to wake up early and I usually don’t get homework,” senior Rebecca Earnheart said.

I like having this poll posted on the newspaper website. It just gives a good incite to what people will be doing. Personally, I stayed home most of the time, when I wasn’t job searching, anyway. It was a good spring break though.
