This I believe, a sisters bond is the strongest. My sister means everything to me. In fifteen years we have grown very close together. Sometimes I feel as if I need her more than she needs me. I have a fear of her moving on in life and leaving me behind. But this year she had an English assignment to write about a special relationship and she chose me.
Reading it at the lunch table while she sat across from me, made me realize we will always be there for each other. The few tears we shared as I read it made me feel ten times closer to her. When a few other friends read her paper, I didn’t think they would understand how much it really meant to me. Most said “awh,” a few said “That’s really sweet,” but to me, it was the best thing in the world. I have never experienced a closer relationship with someone other than her. She is my best friend and most of all the most important person in my life. I know that when she graduates, goes to college, moves out, and starts a family without me, we will still be best friends.
