Girls volleyball took on Petersburg at home on Tuesday, October 1st after having faced two top 10 opponents. They defeated the Crimson Wave in straight sets 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-7).
Senior setter Erin Beaver led the team in assists with 20. She also had 2 aces, 4 kills, and 2 digs. Junior middle hitter Grace Atkins added 3 kils and 4 digs.
For the Crimson Wave (5-4) they were led by Jillian Miranda with 4 assists, 2 aces, and 1 dig.
The Royals are scheduled to play Meadowbrook on Thursday, October 3rd on the road.
