The boys basketball team lost a close game to their rival Hopewell on Tuesday night at home 65-64. This was the first home game of the season.
Hopewell made a game-winning free throw after being fouled with seconds left on the clock. Junior Tevin Tucker made a layup before the final free throw to tie the game.
The Royals look ahead to tonight’s game against Matoaca at home at 7:15 PM.
