Prom will be coming up on April 30th and tickets will soon start being sold for both prom and after prom. Prom tickets will be sold on Wednesday, April 13th during all lunch blocks. Tickets will be twenty dollars for one person or thirty-five dollars for a couple, if both tickets are purchased at the same time.

Prom will be held at the Old Towne Civic Center in Petersburg this year, which is a change from previous years, when it was held at the Regimental Club on Fort Lee.

If one is bringing a date from outside of the school, a date form needs to be completed. Date forms can be picked up in Mrs. Kasi Roberts’ room in A4 or Mrs. Bolyard’s room in D13. The last date to turn in forms is April 26th. Tickets for those needing a date form cannot be purchased until the date form has been approved by administration.

Along with prom tickets, after prom tickets will go on sale on Thursday, the 21st of April and will continue to be sold through Wednesday, the 27th. Tickets for after prom are fifteen dollars per person. After prom follows prom, starting at 11PM on April 30th and will continue on until 4AM the following morning.

“There will be video games, laser tag, go karts, miniature golf, everything that Swaders has, since it is being held there this year; along with a DJ and plenty of food.” PTA treasurer, Cindy Leonard, said.
