These pictures are amazing. I didn’t even know they were posted on here. Glad to see cross country being recognize for something. Cross Country is so under rated. Some may think it’s just running but its truly the dedication, time, and effort that is put into running that makes it special.

I really like a lot of these pictures, there are some really good ones of Emily and Andrew (haha, I love his facial expression). Cross country really isn’t an *easy* sport, and the pictures really show that by our tired expressions. Some people may think, “oh, it’s just running, it’s not a real sport”. I don’t think that there’s a more real sport out there. We work really hard and put a lot of time and sweat into our sport, and it pays off, especially since our girls just won the district title and the district meet today.

These are great pictures! They show great emotion, and towards the end they start to really show how tired some of the runners are. I also really like the eleventh picture because it shows them all in motion but it also has their shadows like leading them forward. I also agree with Josh, and not only about cross country. There are some sports in PG that aren’t as known or people don’t ever really hear about how their games/meets went.

Those are some really great pictures of the Prince George vs. Colonial Heights meet. My one “concern” is why aren’t there more articles about the cross country team in The Royal News. They train as hard as all of the other sports teams and compete just as much; so shouldn’t they be advertised just as much as any other sports team from Prince George High School ?
